Meet the Newest APVisuals Family Member - DJI Mavic 2 Pro
APVisuals, adding to its drone filming capabilities has added a DJI Mavic 2 Pro. APVisuals is proud to offer its clients drone footage, when requested, to conduct surveillance and to recreate accidents and accident scenes. Up until recently, in order to perform surveillance on individuals or certain acts, one had to rely on hand held cameras a video cameras. Thus making it difficult to document and/or capture footage of construction sites, hard to reach areas, isolated areas and areas that are just not accessible to the general public. However, with the use of drones, APVisuals can make many areas that were once "hard to reach" available to video for your legal case.
For example, if you are working on a construction accident case and need to document that the failure to follow safety protocol is a common and recurrent issue, one will have to take footage of the construction site. However it is hard to cover a large construction site without the use of a drone. The drone will give the ability to get a bird's eye view, a view of the roof, a view of the multiple levels of the construction site, etc. In addition, it allows the operator to stand hundreds of feet away to capture the scene without being detected.
Getting the drone footage will also allow our designers to capture video to recreate an incident or accident scene. Up until recently, in order to recreate accidents for trial or mediation, illustrators and animators used aerial photographs and ground photographs to recreate the scene of a car accident, fall accident, construction accident, etc.
Using drones for accident reconstruction allows us to gather information regarding incident scenes rather quickly. After the scene of the incident is captured, including the view point of the subject(s), our 3D animators incorporate objects such as vehicles, chairs, etc. and people to make the recreation more realistic. Recreation of accident scenes can be very valuable at mediation and trial.
